All our boys from last season returned and we also welcomed three new members this year. The opening rounds of 2023 proved to be challenging as the boys faced much tougher opponents, while also having to adjust to a bigger field with more players and longer playing time. Through their positivity and commitment to training and each other, the boys have improved week on week and have won the last two games in a row - an amazing turn around!
In addition to Player of the Week, we have also introduced a "Teammate of the Week" award for the player who shows the best sportsmanship and supports their teammates - this has had an excellent impact on team spirit. The boys are really enjoying their football and we're excited to close out the remainder of the season in style!
