We started the season with a group of 9 girls, many brand new to football, many not knowing their teammates. What have we achieved so far this season….we have learned to dribble, run with the ball, attack, defend, shoot, slide, use the line, do throw ins, kick corners, pass the ball and challenge our courage by going in goals.
Our under 8 girls always show up for training with a big smile and lots of energy. We have lots of fun and all the girls try their hardest at every game. We have had a few wins and a few losses, but they are playing well as a team, learning to pass the ball, spreading out and supporting each other. Such a wonderful team to be part of. Well done girls! We are all so proud of you.
