Coaches & Team Managers

We rely on our parents participation with coaching & managing our teams. Roselea FC provides all the support our parent coaches & manager need. We high recommend coaches to attend the Grassroots coaching course. The course is fully practical and encourages our coaches to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting.

Walking

Walking Football

Walking Football focuses on passing and ball control rather than speed/running. It is flexible with its formats and accessible to the community and prospective players of all ages. If you can walk, you can play.

Walking Football is:

  • Aimed to provide participants physical & mental health benefits, social contentedness and promotion of the benefits of ongoing physical activity.

How Walking Football is played?

  • Running is not allowed. A participant always has to have one foot on the ground.

  • It is a non-contact version of the game.

  • The ball cannot be kicked above head height.
