Miniroos Football is designed for kids of all abilities. It encompasses children from 6 years old to 11 years old. It uses short, game-based training and games to introduce football to children in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active and making life long friends. Boys and girls are welcome to register and play for Roselea FC. Mixed teams (boys and girls) play on Saturdays. Girls may also play in a “Girls Only” football on Sundays.

Age Information

Children are eligible to play in the Under 6 age-group if they are turning 6 in the year of competition. Younger players (i.e. those turning 5 early in the year) are welcome, however they must show sufficient maturity and are safely able to play with older children.

Coaches & Team Managers

We rely on our parents participation with coaching & managing our teams. Roselea FC provides all the support our parent coaches & manager need. We high recommend coaches to attend the Grassroots coaching course. The course is fully practical and encourages our coaches to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting.
